Issue tracker
Bugs and feature requests for Wattlebrooks apps come to us by email or through the app's support page. There is no public ticket board. We read everything and reply to each report.
Report a bug
Something broke, rendered wrongly, or showed an error you did not expect.
Request a feature
A diagram type, an editor habit, or an export you wish the app had.
You can also start from the Mermaid Studio support page, which has the same contact details alongside the documentation.
What to include in a bug report
The more of this you can give us, the faster we can reproduce the problem and fix it.
- Your Confluence site URL, for example
yourcompany.atlassian.net. - The page URL where the problem happens.
- Your browser and version, and whether you were on a desktop or mobile device.
- Steps to reproduce, as a short numbered list.
- What you expected and what actually happened.
- A screenshot or short recording, if you can take one safely.
- The Mermaid Studio version, shown under Manage apps in Confluence settings if you are a site admin. Skip this if you cannot see it.
- The diagram text if the problem is with a particular diagram, pasted or attached as a .mmd file.
Please do not send passwords, API tokens or content you are not allowed to share. If a diagram contains sensitive details, a trimmed version that still shows the problem is fine.
What to include in a feature request
- What you are trying to do, in plain words.
- How you work around it today, if you do.
- How many people on your site would use it, roughly.
We cannot promise every request will ship, but we do read each one, and we will tell you honestly whether it fits the app.
Security issues
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, please do not report it publicly. Follow the reporting steps on the Mermaid Studio security page. Security reports are acknowledged within 2 business days.
Before you write
- Check the Mermaid Studio documentation, which covers setup, each feature, and the messages the app can show.
- Try the diagram in the editor's Preview mode. Mermaid syntax errors are marked inline and usually point at the line to fix.
Setup questions, billing questions and anything else are welcome at support@wattlebrooks.com too.
